Job summary

Comfrt is seeking a highly technical Product Manager for Internal Tooling & Data to own automation workflows, data platforms, and backend services. You will champion AI adoption, optimize business processes, and guide the data engineering roadmap while collaborating with engineering to move toward a microservices architecture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in SaaS product management focusing on internal tooling.
• Strong technical fluency in APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and ETL/ELT.
• Experience driving automation and evaluating AI tools to improve workflows.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate processes into scalable tech.
• Proven stakeholder management, coordinating with engineering, ops, and leadership.
• Experience operating in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and roadmap for internal tooling and back-office apps.
• Lead AI adoption strategy for LLMs, ML, and intelligent automations.
• Manage lifecycle of full-stack apps with internal and customer-facing aspects.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security across app ecosystems.
• Define data engineering roadmap with pipelines and warehousing.
• Collaborate with engineering to move toward microservices.
• Write PRDs, manage backlogs, and run sprints with backend and data teams.
• Establish success metrics on efficiency, processing times, and data reliability.
