Job summary

xdesign is seeking a senior product leader to drive the product-management practice and client engagements across industries. You will guide products from research and discovery through delivery and iteration while coaching product managers to achieve customer-focused outcomes.

Responsibilities include leading PM teams, establishing effective practices, removing blockers, directing resource allocations, and guiding AI-enabled strategies with cross-functional teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience leading product-focused engagements in a consultancy or client-facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of PM frameworks, continuous discovery and continuous delivery.
• Experience conducting product research and using evidence to support value propositions.
• Demonstrated experience developing, coaching or managing Product Managers.
• An empathetic leadership style and passion for improving the product-management discipline.
• Practical experience applying AI to products with understanding of customer and business value.
• Awareness of AI-specific considerations including evaluation, trust, data governance and responsible use.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Product Managers, including recruitment, mentoring and career development.
• Establish effective product-management practices, ways of working and progression pathways.
• Act as an escalation point, helping remove internal and client-side blockers.
• Support the allocation and resourcing of Product Managers across engagements.
• Lead clients through digital transformation, building trusted relationships with key decision-makers.
• Shape product strategies with senior leaders, designers, engineers and client teams.
• Identify training needs and help the wider team develop stronger product capability.
