Job summary

Toptal is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead AI-driven initiatives on its global platform. You will own end-to-end discovery, work with Engineering, Design, and Product Managers to define scope, write user stories, and measure impact with data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of proven software product management experience.
• Proven ability to lead products end-to-end from discovery to launch in ambiguous environments.
• Experience managing mobile, desktop, and web apps across the lifecycle is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI product development processes and best practices.
• Experience designing AI-powered features that improve engagement and outcomes.
• Experience building intelligent workflows by connecting systems and automation tools.
• Experience with third-party system integrations is a plus.
• Comfortable working with SQL or spreadsheets to analyze data and conduct user research.
• Strong data-driven decision making with various tools and methodologies.
• Ability to craft solutions through data and a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to build wireframes and mockups with simplicity in mind.
• Meticulous with high quality in user stories, designs, and tests.
• Humility and willingness to learn to help achieve goals.
• Experience with agile development in globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead all aspects of an established agile team, including backlog grooming, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination, with a focus on delivering AI-driven product capabilities.
• Translate AI platform capabilities into customer-facing, talent-facing, and internal product experiences that deliver measurable business value.
• Define the scope of new product features and ongoing feature improvements.
• Write and prioritize user stories and define acceptance criteria.
• Establish credibility with internal and external partners.
• Break down complex problems using data and user research to inform product direction.
• Track progress, assess risks, and communicate contingency plans for the team.
• Run ad-hoc research and analyses to assess opportunities and risks.
• Own identifying and solving complex product challenges aligned with short- and long-term goals.
• Apply system-analyst techniques and consult with users to determine specifications.
