Propel is seeking a Lead Product Manager to own the complete lifecycle of its consumer mobile app and connected ecosystem. You will define the product vision and roadmap, collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams, and drive growth and monetization initiatives.
You will lead a hands-on role shaping a high-frequency health/fitness app, working closely with founders to establish product direction and performance metrics from discovery through to launch and optimization.
Lead Product Manager | Mobile App, Growth, Subscriptions & Wearables
I'm working with a fast-growing consumer health, fitness and wellness technology company that is at an exciting stage of its product journey.
With a user base of 1 million+, the business combines hardware, software and AI to create connected health and fitness experiences. They are now bringing their mobile app development in-house and are looking for their first dedicated product hire focused on the app to take ownership of the product from the ground up.
As Lead Product Manager, you will be a hands-on individual contributor responsible for the full product lifecycle of the consumer mobile app and its wider connected ecosystem.
Working closely with the founders and existing development team, you will define the product vision and strategy, build the roadmap, translate it into execution and ultimately own how the product performs in market.
This is not a role where you will inherit an established product function or own one particular area. You will be expected to take the product from strategy and discovery through development, launch, measurement and continuous optimisation.
The opportunity is to take an app that is currently primarily a smartwatch companion and help transform it into a daily health, fitness and wellness platform, with stronger engagement, retention and subscription potential.
.
I'm looking for someone who has owned an entire consumer product lifecycle, rather than someone who has only been responsible for a specific product area or feature set.
You don't need to come specifically from wearables. Fitness, health, wellness and other high-frequency consumer product backgrounds are all highly relevant.
I'm interested in people who have previously been the first or one of the first product hires, or who have joined a business where they were expected to establish the product direction and ways of working themselves.
This is a genuine opportunity to own and shape a consumer product from the ground up.
You will have the autonomy to define the strategy, build the roadmap, work alongside the founders and development team, and take responsibility for the product’s performance throughout its lifecycle.
If you are a product leader who enjoys building rather than inheriting, thrives in ambiguity and wants genuine end-to-end ownership of a consumer product in the health, fitness and wellness space, I'd love to hear from you.
