Propel, a fast-growing consumer health, fitness and wellness tech company, seeks a Lead Product Manager for its mobile app and wearable ecosystem. You’ll own the full product lifecycle, set the vision, roadmaps and drive growth with founders and a small, talented team.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in consumer mobile product management, proficiency across iOS/Android, APIs and data platforms, and a track record of end-to-end ownership in early-stage environments. autonomous leadership essential.
I’m working with a fast-growing consumer health, fitness and wellness technology company that is at an exciting stage of its product journey.
With a user base of 1 million+, the business combines hardware, software and AI to create connected health and fitness experiences. They are now bringing their mobile app development in-house and looking for their first dedicated senior product hire to take ownership of the product from the ground up.
As Lead Product Manager, you’ll be a hands‑on individual contributor responsible for the full product lifecycle of the consumer mobile app and its wider connected ecosystem.
Working closely with the founders and existing development team, you’ll define the product vision and strategy, build the roadmap, translate it into execution and ultimately own how the product performs in market.
This is not a role where you’ll inherit an established product function or own one particular area. You’ll be expected to take the product from strategy through to execution, launch, measurement and continuous optimisation.
The opportunity is to take an app that is currently primarily a smartwatch companion and help transform it into a daily health, fitness and wellness platform, with a stronger focus on engagement, retention and subscription growth.
I'm looking for someone who has owned an entire consumer product lifecycle, rather than someone who has only been responsible for a specific product area or feature set.
You don't need to come specifically from wearables. Fitness, health, wellness and other high-frequency consumer product backgrounds are all highly relevant.
I'm interested in people who have previously been the first or one of the first product hires, or who have joined a business where they were expected to establish the product direction and ways of working themselves.
This is a genuine opportunity to own and shape a consumer product from the ground up.
You’ll have the autonomy to define the strategy, build the roadmap, work alongside the founders and development team, and take responsibility for the product’s performance throughout its lifecycle.
If you’re a product leader who enjoys building rather than inheriting, thrives in ambiguity and wants genuine end‑to‑end ownership of a consumer product in the health, fitness and wellness space, I’d love to hear from you.
If this sounds like you, or someone in your network, I'd love to hear from you.
