About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to support a growing technology and reporting organization. This role will lead product strategy and delivery for an enterprise reporting team, supporting operational teams, Finance, Contact Center, and major business initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in product management, data analytics, and Agile delivery. This individual will oversee reporting requests, manage the product backlog, lead Scrum ceremonies, and work closely with business partners and engineering teams to improve reporting efficiency and data governance.

A key focus of this role is transitioning the team from a request-driven reporting model to a more scalable, self-service analytics environment through dashboards, semantic layers, and modern reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals.
  • Manage reporting intake and prioritization across multiple business units, ensuring requests align with business needs and team capacity.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to develop reporting solutions and improve data quality, governance, and self-service capabilities.
  • Establish clear processes for request intake, prioritization, testing, approvals, and delivery timelines.
  • Track performance metrics, including backlog health, cycle time, team capacity, and self-service adoption.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure business partners provide timely feedback and approval.
  • Identify risks, resolve delivery roadblocks, and communicate project status, priorities, and trade-offs to leadership.
  • Support major technology initiatives, including system replacements, new launches, and platform upgrades.
  • Coach team members on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, business intelligence, or analytics delivery.
  • 3+ years of experience leading Agile delivery for a data, reporting, or platform team.
  • Active Scrum certification, such as CSM, PSM, A-CSPO, or an equivalent certification.
  • Hands-on experience managing product backlogs and facilitating Scrum or Kanban ceremonies using Jira or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of BI and data concepts, including data models, data warehouses, semantic layers, data governance, and reporting security.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing high-volume requests while balancing immediate business needs with long-term product strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence platforms.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse technologies.
  • Experience transitioning reporting teams toward self-service analytics.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting controls, SOX compliance, data privacy, and sensitive information handling.
  • Experience with data cataloging and lineage tools, such as Alation.
  • Background in travel, hospitality, or other complex, multi-location environments.
  • Experience working with offshore teams and external vendors.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on product leader who can balance day-to-day Agile delivery with long-term improvements to reporting and analytics. They are comfortable managing competing priorities, setting expectations with senior stakeholders, and helping teams move toward scalable, governed self-service solutions.
