Job summary

IronRoad is seeking a Lead Product Engineer for its Cincinnati, Ohio facility. This full-time, on-site role focuses on new product development for pressure regulators, control valves, and hygienic platforms, partnering with customers to shape product strategy from concept through launch.

You will utilize modern engineering tools, collaborate across teams, improve lab processes, and help expand into pharmaceutical, semiconductor, data center markets, driving innovation and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, industrial, civil, manufacturing, or electrical engineering.
• 7+ years of valves, regulators, or related precision manufactured products.
• Experience with fluid control products and industrial automation is a plus.
• Experience developing products for regulated industrial applications.
• Knowledge of ISO, ASME, API standards.
• Proficiency in FMEA, CAD/CAE, SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Drive concept to launch for next-gen valves and regulators.
• Lead fast-cycle NPD focused on customer value and growth.
• Build and deploy digital sizing tools for regulators and valves.
• Lead value engineering on core platforms.
• Apply simulation, automation, and AI to accelerate innovation.
• Develop troubleshooting knowledge base for Value Stream teams.
• Improve lab assets, data acquisition, and validation processes.
• Strengthen test repeatability, automation, and reporting.
• Gather customer insights through site visits.
