Job summary

Sterling Engineering in Crawfordsville, IN is seeking a Product Manager to guide the strategy and growth of our fluid handling, fittings, and flow control product portfolio. You will work closely with engineering, sales, and operations to bring products to market and expand existing lines.

Product Manager - Fluid Handling & Flow Control

Location: Crawfordsville, IN (Onsite)

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 + 10% Bonus

We're partnering with a leading industrial manufacturer to identify a Product Manager who will help drive the strategy, growth, and development of a portfolio of fluid handling, fittings, and flow control products.

This role is ideal for someone who combines technical aptitude with strong business acumen and enjoys working closely with customers, engineering teams, sales, and operations to bring products to market and grow existing product lines.

What You'll Do

• Support product strategy, roadmap development, and growth initiatives
• Gather voice-of-customer feedback from OEMs, distributors, and end users
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities
• Partner with engineering teams on new product development and product enhancementsDevelop business cases and support product launches
• Assist with product positioning, pricing, sales support, and training initiatives
• Track product performance, sales trends, market adoption, and profitability
• Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and long-term growth
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Product Management or a related role within manufacturing
• Experience with engineered products, industrial equipment, fluid handling systems, fittings, valves, flow control products, agricultural equipment, or similar technologies
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to balance customer needs with business objectives
• Experience working in a cross-functional manufacturing environment
