Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Lead Product Engineer for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to drive enterprise-scale automation. You will design, build, and productize reusable infrastructure solutions enabling teams to provision and manage infrastructure through code.

You will establish standards, create reusable modules, implement CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with platform teams to accelerate IaC adoption and products. Strong leadership and hands-on engineering are essential.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code principles, patterns, and engineering practices.
• Experience with continuous collaborative pair programming to solve technical challenges.
• Strong experience building infrastructure automation solutions using tools such as Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Env0, Puppet, or equivalent platforms.
• Demonstrated success establishing and scaling enterprise infrastructure automation initiatives.
• Strong software engineering mindset with emphasis on maintainability, testing, version control, and automation.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure automation solutions across omni-hosted platforms.
• Build reusable modules, templates, blueprints, and self-service automation capabilities for infrastructure teams.
• Develop automation using Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Puppet, Rundeck, Python, or related technologies.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering practices to improve delivery speed and automation quality.
• Design and develop APIs and integrations that enable infrastructure orchestration and provisioning.
• Drive CI/CD, security, compliance, testing, and deployment automation for infrastructure delivery.
