Job summary

Addison Group in Broken Arrow, OK is actively seeking a Lead Product Engineer to provide technical leadership for pressure vessels, HVAC tanks, and fabricated products. This Direct Hire, on-site role offers a base salary up to $120,000 with a 10% target bonus (potential to 20%), plus benefits and 401(k).

The position leads design, development, certification, and continuous improvement while mentoring engineers and collaborating with operations, quality, manufacturing, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience required; 8+ years preferred.
• Experience within HVAC, pressure vessel, heavy fabrication, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
• Prior technical leadership, project leadership, or team mentoring experience required.
• Experience working in an ASME-certified manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of welding, fabrication, machining, forming, and assembly processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and engineering change processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, designers, and engineering technicians.
• Manage engineering projects, priorities, and timelines to ensure successful execution.
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Ensure products meet ASME standards, customer requirements, and internal quality expectations.
• Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve technical challenges and improve production processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices.
• Assist with engineering change management and product improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, supply chain, and vendors on technical solutions.
• Support audits, inspections, and certification activities.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and priorities to engineering leadership.
