Qualifications

• End-to-end product design for consumer-facing products.
• Significant fintech product design leadership.
• Systems thinking to ensure cross-product consistency.
• Strong visual design with systemized UI and brand-focused moments.
• Craft-focused designer with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience delegating work and guiding other designers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to justify decisions.
• Ability to define product strategy and vision.
• Experience shipping mobile and web applications.
• Able to leverage AI to accelerate design work.
• Portfolio showcasing design work.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality interactive experiences across iOS, Android, and web.
• Lead projects from concept to production and release.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to define strategy and roadmap.
• Mentor and provide direction to other designers.
• Evaluate processes and implement improvements; develop best practices.
• Contribute to and utilize the Step Design System.
