Job summary

Verkada is seeking a Lead Designer to own the source of truth for our digital language, bridging UX designers and frontend engineers to keep hardware‑software interfaces cohesive, accessible, and polished. You will advocate for pixel‑perfect implementation and shape governance around design systems.

You’ll define and maintain the Figma component library, tokens, and documentation; scale systems across web, mobile, and touch devices; and lead cross‑team workflows to vet and integrate new

Qualifications

7+ years in Product Design with 4+ years in Design Systems.
Expert-level Figma proficiency and component-driven design.
Strong understanding of frontend technologies and accessibility (WCAG).

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the core Figma component library, tokens and documentation.
Create scalable design systems across web, mobile and hardware interfaces.
Establish the process for proposing and integrating new components with the UX team.
Bridge Design and Engineering to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
Build and test interactive components and prototypes; contribute to cross-product experiences.
