Job summary

Aquent Talent is seeking a senior product designer in Boston to own provider-facing workstreams, shaping workflows from discovery to production-ready designs. You will partner with product, engineering, research, and marketing to align on strategy, success metrics, and scalable design patterns that improve provider experiences.

You will explore AI-enabled approaches, balance speed with quality, and mentor peers while delivering clear design storytelling across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience on complex web, SaaS, marketplace, CRM, internal-tool, partner-portal, or operations-facing products.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end ownership from ambiguous problem framing through shipped product, including work that influenced product strategy or raised the quality bar across multiple workstreams.
• Excellent interaction design, systems thinking, information architecture, and product judgment.
• Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on experimentation with AI tools in the design or product development process.
• Ability to explain not just what you designed, but how you used evidence, tools, prototypes, constraints, and judgment to make better decisions.
• Experience working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where ownership, pragmatism, and cross-functional trust matter.
• Strong proficiency in leading design software and the ability to communicate design intent through flows, prototypes, specs, and crisp design storytelling.
• Comfort partnering deeply with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, Marketing, operational stakeholders, Sales, and senior leaders to align teams around clear design direction.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design for provider workstreams, from discovery and journey mapping through prototypes and production-ready design.
• Translate complex marketplace, partner, and operational challenges into intuitive workflows for both internal and external users.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and business leaders to define problem framing, establish success criteria, evaluate tradeoffs, and scope releases.
• Design for trust, clarity, speed, and usability in workflows where users require accurate information and confident next steps.
• Use research, analytics, provider conversations, partner feedback, frontline team input, product data, and business context to inform and guide design decisions.
• Identify high-leverage opportunities where improved provider workflows can enhance customer outcomes and business performance.
