Job summary

Headway is hiring Senior and Staff Product Designers to own the provider experience. Designers partner with PMs, engineers, and researchers to craft AI-native workflows for credentialing, scheduling, documentation, and billing.

Senior and Staff levels require 5+ and 8+ years respectively, with a focus on end-to-end ownership and rapid prototyping using Claude Code and Cursor. The role emphasizes crafting fast, reliable, and delightful provider experiences, with opportunities to lead at-scale

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience with strong craft.
• Experience designing B2B or professional tools.
• Systems thinker for state-heavy problems.
• Fluent with AI prototyping tools and methods.
• Experience shaping provider-facing product surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own the provider product experience end to end, from framing to launch.
• Prototype and test ideas quickly using AI tools; define patterns and quality.
• Partner with product, engineering, and research teams on scope and priorities.
• Design provider workflows: credentialing, scheduling, documentation, and billing.
• Run experiments with clear success metrics and learnings.
• Contribute to Helix design system and share AI prompts/patterns.
