Job summary

Rocket, a Detroit-based company, is seeking a senior product designer to lead end-to-end design for top-of-funnel digital experiences. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing and other teams to translate insights into intuitive design solutions.

You will drive UX/UI, prototyping, and usability testing, using AI tools to accelerate iteration and elevate design quality. A strong portfolio demonstrating web/mobile design across platforms is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product design.
• Portfolio showing UX, interaction, and visual design across web and mobile.
• Experience using AI in product design workflows, including ideation and rapid prototyping with Figma Make, Claude Code, Claude Desktop or similar.
• Willingness to adopt new AI capabilities as they emerge.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, visual hierarchy, typography, and responsive design.
• Ability to translate complex problems into simple design solutions.
• Experience with user research and usability testing in design iterations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration, ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for user-centered design.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver digital products.
• Familiarity with front-end concepts and design system evolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for top-of-funnel digital experiences from discovery through implementation.
• Own complex initiatives to improve acquisition, engagement, and conversion with exceptional UX/UI.
• Leverage AI throughout the design lifecycle to accelerate iteration and expand exploration.
• Define and execute a forward-looking product vision while elevating visual quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Brand, Content, SEO and other teams to shape strategy.
