Job summary

AirOps is seeking a Lead Product Designer to shape the future of AI search. You’ll own large portions of the platform experience, from search visibility tools to editing experiences, partnering with product and engineering to turn AI challenges into elegant solutions.

You will prototype rapidly, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with content and marketing teams to build intuitive experiences that drive revenue and adoption.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience
• Portfolio showing simplification of complex workflows and data-heavy interfaces
• Experience designing for technical audiences with accessibility for non-technical users
• Strong understanding of CMS, SEO tools, or marketing tech platforms
• Fluent in modern prototyping tools (Cursor, Bolt, Claude Code) and collaboration environments (Figma, Git)
• Track record of shipping products with measurable business impact and user adoption
• Ability to work autonomously while seeking feedback and collaboration
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to articulate design decisions to stakeholders
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to define structure where none exists
• Genuine interest in how AI is changing search, content discovery, and digital marketing

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design for core platform features from concept to launch
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate AI search challenges into elegant design
• Design workflows for content gap analysis, AI agent optimization, and multi-channel publishing
• Create information hierarchies and data visualizations for large datasets
• Build and maintain a scalable design system across user personas
• Conduct user research with content teams, SEO professionals, and marketing leaders
• Prototype rapidly to test assumptions with real users before engineering investment
• Collaborate with customer success to understand usage and pain points
• Help define product strategy to improve customer outcomes
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a design culture focused on business impact
