Scribd, Inc. in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Analytics role to own analytics for content supply and understanding. You will partner with Product, Engineering, ML, and Data teams to define metrics, run experiments, and drive data-informed decisions.

You will design KPI definitions, maintain dashboards, and mentor analysts while applying AI-assisted workflows to speed insights and ensure rigor in measurement across the content platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product analytics or a closely related role with a track record of influencing product or business decisions.
• Experience turning ambiguous questions into analysis that changes decisions, in environments with sparse data or non-existent metrics.
• Experience with opportunity sizing, segmentation, or ROI modeling for strategy and roadmaps.
• Strong communication skills and ability to defend metrics to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build measurement for content understanding, classification, and metadata coverage.
• Own analytics for content supply, identify gaps between user demand and corpus, and quantify value of improvements.
• Partner with Product Managers on strategy and roadmap, size opportunities, and make trade-offs explicit.
• Design and read experiments (A/B tests and others) from hypothesis through analysis.
• Define and maintain KPIs and dashboards for the content domain, ensuring metric consistency over time.
