You will assist the Produce Manager with ordering, inventory, training, and maintaining freshness while ensuring safety and high standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with ability to interact with our customers.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Able to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Food Handlers permit.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and maneuver pallets.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards and rotate products.
• Lead and train the Produce team.
• Unload deliveries and operate produce equipment.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
