About the Role

This role involves completing daily operations of injection molding equipment and tools, ensuring quality and production goals are met, and leading material technicians in daily operations, training, safety, and performance coaching.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Support process activities aligned with departmental goals.
  2. Perform tool changes as per production schedules.
  3. Support the building and maintenance of end-of-arm tooling, part placement nests, and degate fixtures.
  4. Develop skills to make process adjustments within tolerances and recommend improvements.
  5. Monitor injection molding processes continually.
  6. Analyze and resolve processing issues.
  7. Assist in resolving product non-conformities with the Process Engineer.
  8. Set up and start new tools and resins for trials.
  9. Implement continuous process improvements in the molding department.

Who we are looking for

Candidates should be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Requirements include coursework in injection molding, at least 1 year of related experience, and experience with plastics processing and tool setting.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of automation systems and controls.
  • Experience in fabrication, such as fixture building and water line installation.
  • Minimum 2 years of ISO/TS16949 experience and knowledge of ISO14001.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
