Position Summary

This role involves operating and overseeing production orders, ensuring machines run according to schedule, reviewing production orders, and maintaining safety, quality, and material specifications for products.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Review daily and weekly production schedules.
• Manage color feeds and communicate with Quality Control.
• Coordinate molding machine production according to specifications.
• Record cycle times and note any changes.
• Communicate shift changes and conduct walk-throughs to check equipment.
• Ensure proper documentation of production and machine changes.
• Set up and start production jobs, perform mold changes, and evaluate processes for improvements.
• Perform repairs or call for assistance on equipment issues.
• Complete line clearances, maintain cleanliness, and ensure paperwork accuracy.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Monitor production data via Whiteboard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to read technical documents.
• 3-5 years experience with 200-500 ton machines.
• Flexible to work any shift as needed.
• Experience in process development, control, and good manufacturing practices.
• Technical background in lining machines or high-speed assembly preferred.
