Job summary

Monroe Energy seeks a senior Process Safety Leader to drive the refinery's process safety program and ensure regulatory compliance at Trainer. You will lead PHAs, manage MOC/CAPA and incident investigations, and oversee process safety data, reporting to Refinery Leadership.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance to continuously improve safety performance and sustain licensure to operate.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, Chemical or Mechanical Eng. preferred.
5+ years process engineering or PHAs facilitation in petrochemical/petroleum operations.
Experience with PHAs using LOPA desirable; knowledge essential.
Strong planner/organizer, proactive and adaptable to change.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel.

Responsibilities

Influence and drive the process safety program to meet Monroe Energy requirements and regulatory standards.
Lead PHAs, including Layers of Protection Analysis, and present findings to management.
Administer HERO System modules: MOC, CAPA, Incident Investigation.
Develop and maintain process safety information and Risk Management Plans.
Coordinate incident investigations and drive corrective actions with operations and engineering.
