Job summary

SNC is seeking a seasoned Process Quality Internal Auditor III to lead and execute audits ensuring QMS compliance in Sparks, NV. Hybrid or in office work arrangement.

This role requires an active DoD security clearance and significant experience in quality assurance leadership. Responsibilities include developing audit schedules, implementing corrective actions, and mentoring junior staff while collaborating with multiple departments to embed quality standards across processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 5+ years as an auditor or in a related role.
• AS9100 and ISO 9001 knowledge and standards experience.
• Experience participating in external audits as guide.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct complex internal audits to ensure QMS compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and manage audit schedules, ensuring timely and effective execution.
• Ensure comprehensive adherence to ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
• Lead the development and implementation of corrective actions for audit findings.
• Drive strategic process improvement initiatives and support continuous quality enhancement.
• Train and mentor junior auditors and other staff on quality standards and audit procedures.
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate quality standards into all processes.
• Develop strategies for ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Manage external audits and supplier audits.
