Job Summary

Researches, analyzes, and recommends improvements to business processes to enhance distribution center performance. Executes initiatives focused on safety, productivity, and cost reduction.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Leads the implementation and standardization of process innovations across the distribution network, including documenting operating procedures.
  • Develops and maintains labor standards, manages labor system configuration, and oversees distribution center reporting.
  • Performs testing and analysis to create processes that increase customer value, reduce costs, and improve capacity.
  • Identifies root causes of performance issues through data analysis and observation.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners on supply chain initiatives.
  • Collects and analyzes data for process mapping, budgeting, and feasibility assessments.
  • Develops project plans, communicates process changes, and manages project priorities within schedules and budgets.
  • Defines and monitors process controls to sustain improvements.

Nature and Scope

  • Applies critical thinking to resolve complex, high-impact problems, making prompt and sound decisions under uncertainty.
  • Operates with significant autonomy, often developing innovative solutions for strategic and operational challenges involving multiple departments.

Work Environment

  • Primarily indoors, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, odors, temperature extremes, noise, drafts, or bright lights.
  • Mostly sedentary, with occasional lifting of light materials or equipment.
  • Overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a BS/BA in a related field with 8+ years of experience, or an MS/MA with 5+ years. Certification may be required in some areas.

Positions available in CA, CO, CT, D.C., HI, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NV, NY, OH, RI, VT, WA.

Pay Range

$111,500.00 - $170,300.00 annually.

Salary posting is required by law in applicable states; actual pay depends on various factors.
