Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead process engineers and drive improvements across server and rack production lines. You will oversee manufacturing methods, change control, and ECO/MCO implementation, ensuring on-time production and cost efficiency.

Candidates should have a BS in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and at least 3 years in manufacturing engineering management, with Lean and Six Sigma credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in manufacturing engineering management role.
• Strong background in manufacturing processes, process improvement, and operational optimization.

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated issues across departments.
• Coach and manage Process Engineers to develop and improve manufacturing processes.
• Provide leadership for manufacturing engineers and training.
• Drive projects to improve process reliability, process flow, quality & FPY, productivity, and costs.
• Owner for creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Provide resources/labor and production capacity analysis.
• Provide feedback on requirements and needs to meet production schedule.
• Evaluate and approve manufacturing infrastructure needs and costs.
• Review, evaluate, and approve change orders.
• Work with NPI team to ensure accuracy and completeness of introduction processes and materials.
• WO BOM Validation
• Shop Floor Control System Routing
• Production Flow Diagram
• Create, validate, and maintain Work Instructions
• Pack Out Instructions
• Accountable for Change Order Management including: assess, document and communicate all production floor and/or customer driven changes.
• Initiate and follow up with ECN/MCO changes and disposition.
• Update all applicable work instructions.
• Implement ECO/MCO changes in production; provide training to line operators.
