Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a resourceful Process Engineer to set up, operate, and troubleshoot semiconductor processing tools. You will work with scientists, engineers and technicians to sustain and improve fab processes and tool utilization.

The role requires hands-on experience with scrubbers, defect inspection, metrology tools and sorters, plus familiarity with SPACE, CMMS, and MES systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with setting up, operating and troubleshooting semiconductor processing tools.
• Knowledge of fab-wide systems (SPACE, CMMS, MES) is preferred.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi‑functional projects and teams focusing on sustaining and improving critical fab processes and tools utilization.
• Lead and participate in new tools installations, designs, and characterizations.
• Provide expertise for new products and processes rollouts.
• Monitor daily WIP charts and respond to trend shifts/abnormal processing events.
• Establish and leverage relationships across various fab teams.
• Strategize and prioritize own work and work of reporting technicians.
