Michelin Louisville is seeking a Lead Process Engineer (Experienced Professional) to drive process improvements at the ASRC site. You will lead design, safety and performance initiatives, partnering with project teams and operations to deliver reliable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications include a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and 5+ years in relevant manufacturing environments, with strong collaboration and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, refining, synthetic rubber, polymers or similar continuous process environments.
• Ability to work in both plant and engineering office settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support process optimization studies, de-bottleneck efforts and capital projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, reliability and technical teams to define specifications.
• Develop process design packages including PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances.
• Support construction, commissioning, startup and performance testing activities.
• Provide technical mentorship and process engineering expertise site-wide.
• Ensure solutions align with Michelin standards and long-term strategy.
• Support process safety activities including PHA, HAZOP and MOC reviews.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and plant drawings.
