The position requires leading projects, mentoring remote engineers, and collaborating across R&D, operations and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in process engineering within the petrochemical or oil and gas industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in process design, simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS), and thermodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual design, development, and implementation of new petrochemical processes and technologies.
• Optimize existing plant operations to improve yield, reduce energy consumption, and enhance safety standards.
• Conduct process simulations, HAZOP studies, and risk assessments to ensure operational integrity and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of process engineers working remotely.
• Collaborate with R&D, operations, and engineering departments to integrate innovative solutions and troubleshoot complex process challenges.
