Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal/Lead Process Engineer to improve manufacturing processes, ensure accurate material data, and lead Lean improvement efforts on site. You will work with Materials & Process Engineering to address supply chain disruptions and optimize procedures.

The role requires a STEM degree with extensive manufacturing experience and strong technical writing skills. Onsite shift is 1st, with full-time employment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with project execution and with manufacturing/production processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Improve processes to maintain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety and sustainability.
• Verify TDP shelf-life materials are correctly called out in MDPs and write processing procedures.
• Collaborate on integrating process equipment and document its functionality.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean techniques to reduce variability.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve process/material issues.
