Job summary

Gray AES is seeking a Process Engineer III with leadership in process design for food and beverage applications. The role supports multiple offices including Dallas, TX, and requires collaboration with project managers, clients, and internal teams to deliver complete design, budgeting, procurement, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of processing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on process systems.
• Experience in detailed process design for food and beverage processing lines.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred; PE license is a plus.
• Travel required for site audits, installations, and customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex process design efforts for food and beverage applications.
• Execute full project scope: design, budgeting, procurement, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering quality.
• Provide on-site commissioning support and operational optimization.
• Develop technical documentation including equipment lists and flow diagrams.
