Gray AES is seeking a Process Engineer III to join our team and support process design for food and beverage applications. The position is based in one of our offices in Atlanta, GA, Cincinnati, OH, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, or Lexington, KY and requires travel for site audits and installations.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, full project execution, and collaboration with clients and internal teams to deliver robust processing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with focus on process systems.
• Experience in detailed process design for food and beverage processing lines.
• EIT certification preferred; PE license is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for site audits, installations, and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex process design efforts for food and beverage applications.
• Execute full project scope: design, budgeting, procurement, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal teams to meet goals.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance quality and deliverables.
• Provide on-site commissioning support and operational optimization.
• Develop technical documentation, equipment lists, and process narratives.
