Job summary

Gray AES is seeking a Process Engineer III for a role based in one of our offices: Atlanta, GA; Cincinnati, OH; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; or Lexington, KY. The candidate will lead detailed process design for food and beverage lines, collaborating with project managers and clients to deliver end-to-end solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and strong skills in Excel, Project, Word, and AutoCAD, with travel for site audits and installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on process systems.
• Experience in detailed process design for food and beverage processing lines.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Project and Word for project control.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and customers.
• Travel for site audits, installations and meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex process design efforts for food and beverage applications.
• Execute full project scope: design, budgeting, procurement, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients and internal teams to meet goals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering quality.
• Provide on-site commissioning support and optimization for performance.
• Develop technical documentation including equipment lists, flow diagrams and narratives.
