Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to optimize aerospace component production. You will work on high-precision 5-axis milling, CAM programming, and tooling/fixture design.

The role includes leading small projects, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring production processes meet quality, volume, and timeliness standards. Strong communication and collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university (or equivalent with 4 years manufacturing experience)
• Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience in a related field
• Experience with high precision aerospace components and multi-axis machining environments

Responsibilities

• Experience with high precision aerospace components
• Experience in 5 Axis CNC Mill/Drill processes
• Experience with CAM software - NX, TeamCenter
• Operate Fanuc, Okuma, and Mazak multi-axis mills
• Tool selection and fixture design
• Create visual work instructions for CNC operators
• Define and control production processes including tooling and equipment
• May lead small projects with low risks and develop team capabilities
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to best practices in manufacturing
