Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) in Pullman, WA is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to lead engineers, associate engineers, and technicians in expanding, developing, deploying, and sustaining PCBA cleaning and conformal coating processes.

You will mentor teams, drive high quality and efficiency in manufacturing, and work with management to execute operational and strategic objectives. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience in electronic manufacturing processes and PCBA cleaning and conformal coating equipment.

Job description

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for someone to join our Manufacturing team as a Lead Process Engineer in Pullman, WA.

As a Lead Process Engineer, you’ll be responsible for leading engineers, associate engineers, and technicians in the expansion, development, deployment, and sustainment of PCBA cleaning and conformal coating processes.

Responsibilities
  • Mentoring and coaching other engineers and technicians.
  • Assisting management in developing and driving the execution of operational and strategic objectives.
  • Driving high quality and efficiency in the manufacturing processes, operations and tools.
  • Managing or preparing documentation, including experiments, component and equipment qualifications, assembly materials qualifications, etc.
  • Modeling, teaching, and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

  • You have 3-5 years' experience in electronic manufacturing processes and PCBA cleaning and conformal coating equipment.

  • You can work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • You have background check results satisfactory to SEL & negative drug test result(s).
Preferred
  • Experience with PCBA cleaning and conformal coating processes.
