Job summary

AIRCO in the United States seeks a Lead Engineer, Process Design to drive process design packages for new technologies and lead flowsheet simulation and equipment selection. Based in New Britain, PA, this on-site role collaborates with R&D, operations, and EPC partners to deliver FEED and detailed engineering packages.

You will mentor teams, ensure compliance with design standards and EH&S regulations, and present engineering solutions to internal and external stakeholders while advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10-15 years design experience in refining, petrochemical, chemical or related processing.
• Expertise in Aspen Plus and HYSYS.
• Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Process Design Packages for new technologies and FEL/FEED.
• Lead process synthesis, simulation, heat and material balances, equipment design.
• Serve as liaison among R&D, operations, EPC contractors, customers, and other disciplines.
