Qualifications

• Two years of experience as Supervising Juvenile Correctional Officer or five years as Probation Resource Officer.
• Desirable: advanced coursework in sociology, psychology or related fields.
• Must meet mandatory background and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Probation Resource Officers and assigned programs.
• Coordinate scheduling of staff and programming and oversee truancy/juvenile day reporting.
• Provide transportation for adults and youth as needed and conduct searches when appropriate.
• Counsel adults and youth and monitor progress using evidence based practices.
• Maintain logs and coordinate treatment plans with other officers; perform on-call duties as required.
