The Supervisory Probate Specialist position, reporting to the Realty Program Manager within the Realty Department, oversees the Probate and Estate Services function and its staff. The role ensures compliance with BIA policies and contributes to policy updates and process standardization.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of specialized probate experience, with strong computer and analytical abilities. Bilingual Yup'ik/English preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to supervise Probate and Estate Services staff.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and tribal probate policies.
• Strong written and oral communication; analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee Probate and Estate Services function within Realty Program.
• Direct supervision of 3–4 staff; provide administrative guidance.
• Develop short and long-range plans for Probate and Estate Services.
• Conduct staff performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Update policies to improve service standardization and processes.
• Review probate packages for compliance before final submission.
