Job summary

CVS Health in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, seeks an experienced Managing Legal Counsel to lead the privacy legal and compliance team supporting our CVS Pharmacy business. You will advise internal partners on HIPAA, consumer privacy, and data protection issues with timely, practical solutions.

You will manage other privacy colleagues, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and help shape privacy governance for our retail and online platforms, device programs, and patient information use.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of legal experience focusing on privacy, data protection, or related regulatory matters.
• Admitted to practice law in at least one state and in good standing.
• Deep subject matter knowledge of HIPAA and consumer privacy laws.
• Experience supporting retail operations or online platforms handling regulated data.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic privacy counsel to internal CVS Pharmacy teams.
• Identify legal risks and propose practical, business-aligned solutions.
• Lead and develop the privacy team and cross-functional relationships.
• Advise on privacy issues across customer data, patient information, contracts, and product development.
