CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to shape enterprise data protection strategies and implement scalable privacy solutions across the business.

You will partner with cybersecurity, engineering, legal and compliance to embed privacy-by-design, conduct risk assessments, and drive regulatory readiness.

This highly visible role protects consumer data while enabling responsible use of information and innovative health services across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of privacy/ security data protection experience, with GDPR/CCPA/HIPAA exposure.
• 5+ years designing and implementing enterprise data protection capabilities.
• 5+ years hands-on programming in Python, Java, Go or similar.
• 5+ years cloud/DevSecOps with CI/CD, IaC and security automation.
• 3+ years leading enterprise privacy initiatives with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data protection strategy across data environments and mapping.
• Design and deploy PETs like encryption, tokenization, DLP, and classification.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, legal, compliance and security to embed privacy-by-design.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments, impact assessments, threat modeling, and control evaluations.
• Drive governance, metrics, automation and continuous improvement of privacy posture.
