Job summary

Lumicera is hiring a Specialist III, Prior Authorization to coordinate the Prior Authorization team and support workflows across the organization. The role emphasizes coaching, training, and ensuring efficient triage of prior authorizations for patients and providers.

The position focuses on providing guidance, maintaining high service levels, and collaborating with leadership to achieve KPI goals and continuous workflow improvement. Remote-friendly with national scope.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• National CPhT and/or state registration/licensure as required.
• 2+ years of pharmacy support or healthcare experience.
• Ability to comply with program objectives and cooperate with colleagues.
• Ability to interact respectfully with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Prior Authorization team for day-to-day operations.
• Train new and existing staff on core duties and workflows.
• Assign daily tasks and provide guidance in complex cases.
• Identify opportunities for workflow and process improvement.
• Support other Lumicera areas with prior authorization duties as needed.
• Assist with triaging prior authorizations for patients, providers, and payers.
• Ensure adherence to compliance and DEI objectives.
