Job summary

Lumicera is seeking a Specialist III, Prior Authorization in Atlanta to coordinate daily operations of the Prior Authorization team and coach staff toward key performance indicators and patient/provider satisfaction. The role supports triaging authorizations for patients and acts as a resource across Lumicera for prior authorization duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per associate's residing state's requirements.
• 2+ years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct the day-to-day operations of the Prior Authorization team.
• Lead by example with subject matter expertise and coaching.
• Assist providers and insurance companies in triaging prior authorizations.
• Educate and assist other Lumicera areas related to prior authorization duties.
• Support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectives.
