Job summary

Better Path AI is seeking a hands-on Prompt Engineering leader to design, optimize, and scale AI-powered coaching and simulation experiences. You will guide prompts, RAG frameworks, and AI workflows to improve accuracy, reasoning, and user experience.

Qualifications

Job description

We're seeking a hands-on Prompt Engineering leader to design, optimize, and scale AI-powered coaching and simulation experiences. This role combines deep expertise in prompt engineering, LLMs, and RAG with the ability to lead AI strategy, establish best practices, mentor team members, and identify emerging technologies that improve productivity, capability, and product performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of prompts, RAG frameworks, and AI workflows for coaching and simulation experiences.
• Design and develop multiple personas and multi-agent interactions for realistic training and coaching scenarios.
• Define prompt engineering standards, evaluation methods, and governance practices across solutions.
• Analyze model outputs and continuously improve reasoning, accuracy, consistency, and user experience.
• Evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies, models, frameworks, and tools to increase platform capabilities and team productivity.
• Develop and fine-tune AI/ML models for generative applications.
• Develop voice/TTS, avatars and conversational AI
• Manage prompt, model, and configuration version control.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver AI capabilities into production.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership on AI best practices.
• Monitor and improve AI safety, bias, fairness, reliability, and performance at scale.

Preferred Experience

• 7+ years in AI, ML, NLP, or related technical roles.
• 4+ years working with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives, AI teams, or AI strategy.
• Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Ollama, Anthropic, or similar ecosystems.
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or similar.
• Strong Python and applied AI development experience.
• Passion for staying at the forefront of AI innovation nd translating new technologies into business value.
