Job summary

Nuvance Health Medical Practice in Newtown, CT, seeks a Primary Care Physician to join our busy outpatient practice. Lead a team of 3 physicians, 2 APRNs and 1 LCSW while managing acute and chronic conditions for a large adult panel.

The compensation package is highly competitive and includes base salary plus incentive pay, generous time off, CME allowance, comprehensive health plans, 401(k) match, and potential signing bonus or relocation stipend.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with CT State License, Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance Registration.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Peds.
  • Experience preferred, new grads considered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care in a busy outpatient setting.
  • Lead with clinical responsibilities alongside a team of physicians, APRNs, and social work staff.
  • Coordinate care across hospitals and practice sites using a unified EMR.
