Northwell Health, affiliated with Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT, is seeking a Primary Care Physician for our Newtown Primary Care & Specialty Practice in Newtown, CT to join a busy team in a leadership role with clinical responsibilities alongside 3 physicians, 2 APRNs and 1 LCSW.

This employed position offers a competitive compensation package with base salary plus incentive, generous PTO, CME time off and allowance, medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) match and

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with CT State License, Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance Registration
  • Have successfully completed a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Peds Residency
  • Previous experience as a Primary Care Physician preferred but new grads welcome to apply
  • Must be Board Certified or be Board Eligible
  • Off-hour coverage – Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only with nurse triage

Responsabilités

  • Deliver comprehensive, teambased care for a diverse adult patient population.
  • Partner with multidisciplinary staff to manage acute and chronic conditions while promoting wellness across an entire panel of patients.
  • Work in a fully outpatient setting with a state-of-the-art EMR to ensure seamless communication and coordination with Hospitals and practice sites.
