Job summary

STGi is seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide covered professional outpatient primary medical services at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center’s Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Pierre, SD. You will supervise the day-to-day delivery of care and ensure high-quality outcomes for enrolled veterans.

The role requires board-certified/eligible physicians in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, an active SD license, and DEA.

Qualifications

• Must hold a South Dakota medical license and be board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice or eligible within four years of residency.
• Completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited residency with eligibility for board certification.
• Current and unrestricted DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary medical services to enrolled patients at the VA Medical Center and supervise the CBOC’s day-to-day delivery of care.
• Function as entry point into VA health care system and lead clinical staff physicians, PAs, and NPs.
• Oversee delivery of care, ensure adherence to policies, and participate in quality improvement activities.
