STGi seeks a Primary Care Physician to provide outpatient primary medical services at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) under the VA Primary Care Program, and to supervise the Community Based Outpatient Clinic's (CBOC) daily delivery of medical care.

The physician will function as the entry point into the VA health care system, lead clinical staff, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with patient safety and federal regulations while maintaining

• Provide medical care based on primary and preventative care, to meet the needs (physical, mental, and emotional) of patients under CPT codes and within skills and training.
• Function as the entry point into the VA health care system.
• Supervise the Community Based Outpatient Clinic's day-to-day delivery of medical care.
• Provide leadership to CBOC clinicians.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing clinical methods and procedures and suggest improvements.
• Assist in implementation of Quality Performance Improvement Team (QPIT) strategic initiatives.
• Maintain patient care continuity and coordinate referrals as medically appropriate.
