Job summary

Healthcare United is seeking a Lead Primary Care Physician to join our Dayton, Ohio team. This is a full-time outpatient opportunity with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and leadership opportunities in a collaborative, team-based care model.

You will manage an assigned patient panel, oversee clinical staff, and participate in population health initiatives while delivering high-quality preventive and chronic care. Relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO; board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care-related specialty.
• Active Ohio medical license or ability to obtain.
• Primary care experience required; leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with complex patient populations preferred.
• Strong communication and team-based care skills.
• Interest in value-based care and population health.
• Full-time employed opportunity with Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care for an assigned patient panel.
• Lead and mentor the clinical team including APPs.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions; support preventive care.
• Contribute to care planning and population health initiatives.
• Support quality metrics, patient outcomes, and continuity of care.
• Provide same-day, next-day, and urgent visits as needed.
• Participate in rotating call coverage as required.
