Job summary

Community Action Partnerships of Western Nebraska (CAPWN) seeks a Primary Care Nursing Supervisor to plan, direct, and coordinate patient care in the Primary Care Clinic. You will oversee nursing, MSS, and ancillary staff, ensuring efficient, high-quality care for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, maintaining regulatory compliance, and advancing a team-based care model in a fast-paced clinic. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license for Nebraska required.
• Minimum of three years of general nursing; one year in nursing management preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Valid Nebraska driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing, MSS, and ancillary staff, promoting team cohesiveness and service excellence.
• Facilitate day-to-day management and long-term planning of the nursing team and patient care area.
• Hire, onboard, direct, and mentor staff; conduct performance reviews and address action plans.
• Ensure compliance with DHHS, HRSA regulations and OSHA standards.
• Maintain nursing guidelines and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Support patient care using the provider-led, team-based Patient-Centered Medical Home model.
• Coordinate services with CAPWN programs and community resources.
• Assist QA/QI initiatives to meet high standards of patient care.
