Job summary

Prose is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to lead as a technical SME within our cosmetics manufacturing facility. You will ensure reliability, safety, and optimal performance of production and packaging equipment, while mentoring junior staff and driving continuous improvement.

You will implement a proactive maintenance strategy using lean methods (SMED, 5S, Poka-yoke) and PdM concepts, manage spare parts, and own SOPs.

• Will serve as the primary SME on maintenance projects and issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and serve as the SME on key maintenance projects, driving deliverables and successful implementation.
• Develop, implement, and champion a proactive maintenance strategy using lean techniques (SMED, 5S, Poka-yoke) and PdM principles.
• Manage and optimize spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and control costs.
• Mentor and train junior technicians to foster continuous improvement.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex maintenance issues across shifts with advanced diagnostic skills.
