Job summary

Prose, a cosmetics company known for personalized hair and skin care, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to lead reliability and safety of production and facility equipment. The role requires expert troubleshooting, mentoring junior staff, and driving a proactive maintenance program.

You will act as escalation point for complex issues, manage spare parts, develop SOPs, train operators, and collaborate with engineering on capital improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production and packaging equipment.
• Expert troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proactive maintenance mindset with PM to PdM transition.

Responsibilities

• Be the SME on key engineering projects and drive implementation.
• Develop and champion a proactive maintenance strategy.
• Manage spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and costs.
• Mentor junior technicians and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Use CMMS-Limble to track KPIs and report to leadership.
• Create SOPs and maintenance documentation.
• Train staff on new equipment and autonomous maintenance.
• Identify obsolescence and propose capital improvements.
• Ensure clear hand-offs with vendors and between shifts.
