Klöckner & Co SE in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Lead Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will lead the Press Brake Department, coordinate workflow with operators, and drive safe, efficient production of customer orders while maintaining high quality.

You will select appropriate machines, supervise material handling with overhead crane and forklift, and ensure daily checks and preventative maintenance, promoting a clean, organized, and productive work area.

Qualifications

• Lead the Press Brake Department and coordinate workflow.
• Perform first article inspections and make necessary adjustments.
• Direct assistants on placement of finished products and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Ensure daily machine checks and preventative maintenance are performed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Press Brake Department and support operators by coordinating workflow.
• Operate various press brakes to produce parts according to specifications.
• Determine appropriate machine based on capacity and part length.
• Safely operate overhead crane and forklift to move material as needed.
• Maintain productive output while forming multiple parts of same configuration.
